Federal India Trading Company (FITCO), established in 1944 by the late Shri Kalyanbhai B. Javeri, initially supplied testing instruments primarily for the textile industry. In 1963, the second generation leader, Pradip K. Javeri, joined FITCO, and during the 1980s, the company expanded its offerings to include plastic testing equipment.
In the 1990s, under the vision of third-generation leader Mehul P. Javeri, FITCO further diversified by adding a polymer testing line, emphasizing its commitment to evolving industry needs. Since 2001, with a growing portfolio, FITCO has catered to a wide range of industries, including aerospace, defense, and geotextiles, and has expanded into rPET testing and various other applications.
Today, as the fourth generation steps into the business, having joined, FITCO continues to be known for its reliability and trustworthiness. The company has supplied equipment to major organizations such as ISRO, IOCL, ONGC, Reliance, Aditya Birla Grasim, ITC and more, along with R&D labs, industrial labs, defense labs, the National Test House, and polytechnics across India, earning strong customer relationships and repeated orders over the years.
